How to Write A+ Research Papers

This article highlights the procedure of writing a high quality research paper. Writing research papers is more than just knowledge; you must have a will and ability to write the best research paper. I am not going to have a boring presence here, so the explanation is going to be as brief as possible. That said, the following are the steps to custom writing the best research paper.

Important Steps

1. Select a topic
2. Look for information
3. Make your thesis statement
4. Draw an Outline
5. Organize your notes
6. Write a rough copy
7. Revise the outline and the rough copy
8. Type final paper

1. Select a topic

Select an interesting and challenging topic. Get your energy right as this may dictate the quantity of effort and enthusiasm you throw at that research paper. Ensure the topic is narrowed. For instance, “American Foreign Policy” to “The Middle East Affairs” to “American-Iranian Relations”.

Do not choose a topic you cannot comfortably handle. Technical subjects and extremely specific topics must be avoided.

2. Look for information

Use the internet well. Search for general information or background information. Utilize search engines to get the overview of the topic. Focus mainly on specific domain name extensions like .edu (this is an educational website) and .gov (government). Avoid .com, .net, and other commercial domain name extensions. Use online libraries and books to have a full understanding of the topic.

3. Make your thesis statement

Of course critical thinking is important in deriving the thesis statement. The thesis statement should be able to give the reader a rough imagination of what is going to be discussed. It outlines your belief in one sentence. The major part of your essay should comprise arguments supporting and defending this belief.

4. Draw an Outline

The outline contains all the points being discussed in the research paper. The points are always numbered.

5. Organize your notes

Arrange all the information you have collected as per your outline. Review the information sources for accuracy and reliability. Also make sure the information is up to date. Cite all sources and note down bibliographic information in accordance with the STYLE of your or your tutor’s choosing.

6. Write a rough copy

Critically and carefully, write a draft of your paper; of course, including all gathered information. Avoid plagiarism and grammatical mistakes as these may lower your grade.

7. Revise the outline and the rough copy

Read your research paper for any contextual mistakes. Review the facts and figures. Rearrange your ideas if necessary. Correct all errors in grammar and repeatedly proof read using grammar checkers e.g. Grammarly.com

8. Type final paper

Stick your fingers on your keyboard and start to type. Paraphrase or use your original words to make your paper plagiarism-free.
